hello

To Schools, charities and organisations dedicated and devoted to aiding the well-being of our youth…

Welcome:We share a common cause.

In alignment with our values, we at “Human Act Academy®” understand the immense importance of safeguarding the well-being of our youth and the sense of urgency regarding intervention and prevention solutions through our ‘Body Movement Methodinclusive of Emotional Regulation & Reframing Therapy whilst also considering the importance of an optimal solution to maximise your well-being budget.

around 1  In  6  youths  aged 5 to 16 in the UK are  estimated to  have  a diagnosable mental health disorder.

“MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION”

We acknowledge the multifaceted challenges youths encounter daily - ranging from societal and academic pressures to family dynamics, economic status, social media influences, environmental factors, and a myriad of other pressures and demands

Neglecting these challenges renders youths vulnerable, exposing them to - peer pressure, involvement in bullying dynamics, a path toward crime, suicidal thoughts, addiction, and substance misuse that can lead to devastating consequences - leaving loved ones heartbroken.

Suicide  is the leading cause of death for ages 10-24, rates are rising. Shockingly, children as young  as  5   can experience suicidal thoughtswith around 200 under 5 contacting Childline annually for support.

“CHILDLINE SERVICES”

Despite the widespread issues, many  young  people face  in  the  UK  -  Inadequate access to necessary mental health services is due   to   long   wait   times.

“MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION”

In light of this, we eagerly founded Human Act Academy®’s “Body Movement Method,” an intervention and prevention programme inclusive of emotional regulation and reframing therapy. Students adopt strength in body and mind, fostering self-empowerment, self-love, and compassion for themselves and others.

Providing students with a safe space to express themselves and learn essential skills that will serve them   a   lifetime.

Understanding the challenges you encounter in managing your budget to nurture the children under your care.

I've passionately crafted an all-in-one solution to make a real difference in the lives of our young generation.

Let's unite to serve our youth today for a brighter tomorrow, because every Human Act counts.

Here‘s a list of 6 core elements interwoven     into     the     programme:

MOVING LIMINAL:

Liminal movement is a pivotal aspect of the programme, guiding participants through the transformative space between states. It encourages exploration of the boundaries between stillness and motion, tension and release, and presence and absence. By delving into these uncharted territories, participants uncover new possibilities and connections within themselves and their environment.

WAXING LYRICAL:

Integrating speech with body movement allows participants to release pent-up emotions, leading to shifts in posture, form, and energy. This holistic approach fosters emotional well-being and personal development.

Waxing Lyrical is a vital component of the ‘Body Movement Method programme, providing students with a transformative platform for self-expression. They learn to authentically convey emotions and thoughts through vocal activation, exploring notation, pitch, and voice impact on communication and connections.

Students are invited to engage in diverse activities like spoken word, poetry, storytelling, and affirmations to showcase creativity and expressiveness, verbally articulating emotions for emotional release and growth.

REFRAME IN THE MEMBRANE:

This element invites students to reframe negative thoughts and feelings to establish empowering narratives, replacing old patterns with purposeful ones for positive outcomes and deeper connections.

CUTTING CRAFTS:

Students will explore and craft fundamental movement principles, shaping creativity into intricate patterns and sculptures. They'll enhance awareness and observation skills through mindful movement and engage in independent and collaborative exercises guided by imagination and the instructor.

MEDITATE TO ELEVATE:

This pivotal element is more than just a regular meditation practice. While we incorporate traditional mindful meditation techniques like body scans and focused breathing, what sets this practice apart is the inclusion of powerful visuals. These visuals stimulate both the body and mind, resulting in deeper levels of engagement and healthier manifestations. Through this practice, participants emerge feeling calm, relaxed, and empowered, supporting their overall well-being.

“MEDITATION IS MY FAVOURITE - I ENJOY the visuals. iT  FEELS  REALLY NICE to visit  my calm place IT IS PEACEFUL. PLEeeeASE CAN WE DO  THAT  EVERY  WEEK”

Pupil 10 yrs - Travis

Prana RAMA:

The Pranayama element emphasises the integration of breathwork practices to enhance mindfulness, vitality, and overall well-being. Students explore the use of prana (life force energy) in both movement and stillness. Through guided breathing exercises, individuals cultivate a deeper connection with their breath, promoting relaxation, focus, and emotional balance.
